Folding Booklet

This project was based on an interview I had with one of my classmates. In our conversation we discussed our lives, beliefs and defining childhood moments. Once completing the interview, we were tasked to create a physical booklet that featured an accordian-fold design. This booklet needed to visualize what we had learned and incorperate the folding mechanism into the design.

 

I choose to focus on my classmates life growing up and what it was like to live on an remote farm and discover the companionship that books provide. It was important that my design had a sense of movement and that both the illustration and text flowed with each other.

 

This movement symbolizes the jounery from past to future. I've included the final print and digital booklet and an archice of the drafting process.
